Learn some innovative new ways to create a mixed media work of art using inexpensive and found objects to paint with or collage into your artwork. Many items we use every day work well to create texture and design elements in your art. This workshop conducted by our featured artist, Sara Miller will open your eyes and make you look differently at the things around you. Re-using and up-cycling is very much the thing to do these days and we will explore many ways to recycle, re-use, and up-cycle the most unexpected objects. Each student in the class will create a mixed media work with Sara’s techniques using various non-traditional materials.
