SEW INSPIRED

I can’t believe that Thanksgiving is only two days from away.  Wow this year has just flown by!    I got out of cooking this year, as I will be joining my daughter for Thanksgiving at her boyfriend’s parents’ house.  So instead of cooking all day tomorrow, I can just make one or two dishes to bring with me to dinner, so I can have more time to start working on some new quilts.  Unfortunately, business stuff that I had to finish has prevented me from playing with my new templates, but now that I got most of the boring business stuff done, I can start working on some new quilts.  Here is a picture of the first new design that I want to try out with the new templates:

Well it is so good to be home!  I had a great trip to Houston for International Quilt Market and Festival.  It is always so wonderful to connect with so many of my dear friends in the quilting world at the show.  I especially want to thank my dear friend Aurelia and her husband Andy for all their hospitality.  Poor Andy has to deal with what we now fondly refer to the “Estrogen Invasion” every year when Quilt Festival is going on.
