Back From Houston
Well it is so good to be home! I had a great trip to Houston for International Quilt Market and Festival. It is always so wonderful to connect with so many of my dear friends in the quilting world at the show. I especially want to thank my dear friend Aurelia and her husband Andy for all their hospitality. Poor Andy has to deal with what we now fondly refer to the “Estrogen Invasion” every year when Quilt Festival is going on. But we had a great time and the show was an overwhelming success for me. My new designs were very well received and every one seemed to love my Sew Inspired Design Club which is my version of a Block of the Month club, only you don’t receive a paper pattern and some fabric, with my club you get a new set of templates that can be used over and over again each month for the entire year. Now that I’m back home for a while, I have lots to do with my new templates and will be updating my blog on a regular basis. I will be including new information about quilt designs that can be done with my system as well as quilting tips and advice. As soon as I figure out how to get my video cam working, I plan on doing quite a bit of video blogging. Since I have now written that in this blog entry, I will have to force myself to figure out how to get that done, so look for that soon. Well I have lots of catching up to do today so I’ll cut this one short. Hope everyone has a great week!
